The Trees of Burlingame

 This project on the historic trees of Burlingame was done while Burlingame resident, Danica Hodge, interned with the Burlingame Historical Society. The project was completed for a class while studying for her Master’s Degree in the Museum Studies Program at San Francisco State. 

It contains an in-depth look at how Burlingame became known as "The City of Trees" and the decades of effort by residents and city staff to protect, maintain and reinvigorate Burlingame’s tree canopy.
