Hidden in the back of the Burlingame High School parking lot is The Peninsula Tennis Club.
Jimmy Conners, Billy Jean King, Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, John McEnroe and other tennis greats have graced its courts. Now you too can get a peek inside.
On Sunday, May 16, from 2-4 pm, join the Burlingame Historical Society for a presentation entitled:
“Advantage: Burlingame.”
The Story of the Peninsula Tennis Club.
It will be a rare opportunity to see the club and hear about its long history. It’s free and open to the public.
You may park in the Burlingame High School South Parking Lot and use that entrance to the club.
